C-AGG on US Withdrawal from the 2015 Paris Agreement; Observations from Bonn UNFCCC Meeting Part 2

President Trump’s announced decision last week to withdraw the US from the UNFCCC 2015 Paris Agreement dealt a blow to global efforts to combat climate change. As the worlds’ second-largest GHG emitter (behind China), and the world’s largest historical emitter, the environmental integrity of the accord and of efforts to reduce global GHG will take a hit without participation of the US.
